Dr. James Pendleton is a primary care physician specializing in an integrated approach to family medicine. He is also an assistant professor of sciences, and is passionate about the creation of innovative nutritional supplements.

He is a Bastyr University -trained naturopathic medical doctor, licensed to practice in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Washington State. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in microbiology (Florida Atlantic University). Prior to this he served as a US military paramedic.

Professional Experiences Include:

  • primary care physician, integrated family practice (Kirkland, Washington USA)
  • medical director, VIP optimal health center (Abu Dhabi, UAE)
  • research & development, nutritional supplement manufacturer (Los Angeles, California USA)
  • Assistant Professor, sciences (several US universities)

Dr. James takes a balanced approach to medicine and nutraceutical product formulation, blending science-based, effective treatments to address the whole person. He also maintains an outlet for novel nutritional supplements.

His passions include herbal medicine, nutritional supplement formulation, travel, writing, photography, and the martial arts. He combines this by exploring native uses and unique constituents of medicinal plants throughout the world. Dr. James has lived and participated in projects across Central and South America, Europe, India, North America, Turkey, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Currently, Dr. James splits time between two locations: New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Seattle, Washington. He is also on the board of directors for In Need of Diagnosis (INOD)
